Rick Smith is a prominent Canadian author and environmentalist and Executive Director of the Broadbent Institute. He was Executive Director of Environmental Defence Canada from 2003 to 2012 and is the co-author, with Bruce Lourie, of Slow Death by Rubber Duck: How the Toxic Chemistry of Everyday Life Affects our Health.
