Marie Fitrion is a wife, mother, CEO, and general 'Boss Lady' at Urban Acorn Catering [www.urbanacorn.ca].

She holds an honours degree from the University of Guelph In Media Communications and diplomas in both Fashion Arts and Public Relations from Humber College.

An academic at heart, Fitrion is a collector of grand ideas and a natural storyteller with a penchant for etymology. She loves to explore the connection between food, culture, art and communication. She has a love of fashion, beauty and style.

As a person of colour, she is passionate about issues, celebrations, products and resources specific to the Black community. Fitrion and her husband, Chef Holloway, live in Toronto and are proud parents to three beautiful & bright young girls.
